Two Men Wanted for Grand Larceny at Mall
Suspects took cash from three registers at Sears in the Smith Haven Mall.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Fourth Squad Detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the two men who took $1,300 from cash registers at the Sears in the Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove.
According to police, at around 6:50 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 20, two black males were observed on Sears’ surveillance video. One suspect blocked from sight the other suspect, who opened the drawers and took cash from three different registers. Both suspects are wearing black jackets, jeans, sneakers and hats.
Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
