Traffic Advisory: Avoid Roads During Nassau County Police Officer's Services
SCPD asking residents to steer clear of College Plaza.
Funeral services for Nassau County Police Officer Geoffrey Breitkopf will be held in Selden on March 17 and March 18 and the Suffolk County Police Department Sixth Precinct is advising motorists to find alternate routes from main roads in the area.
Services will be held at the Selden Fire Department Headquarters, located at 44 Woodmere Place in Selden. Motorists are advised that there will be heavier than normal traffic conditions in the area on March 17 around College Plaza, which is located at Route 25 and College Road in Selden, from 6 p.m. until approximately 10:30 p.m.
On Friday, March 18, College Road in Selden will be closed between Route 25 and Mooney Pond Road from 10 a.m. until approximately 3 p.m.
