Sedan Crashes into Rear of GMC Truck
Accident backs up traffic on Nicolls Road in Farmingville.
The driver of a small sedan hit into the back of a GMC work truck and caused an accident in Farmingville Wednesday afternoon, police said.
A Honda Civic, driven by a female, who police did not identify, was traveling southbound on Nicolls Road and attempted to change lanes. She hit into the back of the work truck, driven by a male, also unnamed, at 1:33 p.m.
The accident took place on the Nicolls overpass near Portion Road.

The driver of the Civic, which overturned and lost a wheel, was taken to Stony Brook University Medical Center for minor injuries.
