Search Continues for Missing Lake Ronkonkoma Swimmer
Divers back in the water Saturday looking for missing man.
The search for a man who went while swimming in Lake Ronkonkoma continued Saturday.
The 40-year-old man, whom police have not identified, was reported missing around 8:30 p.m. on Friday.
Divers were in and out of the water at Lake Ronkonkoma County Park Saturday searching for the man, who may have swam out to retrieve a remote-controlled toy when he disappeared. A Suffolk County Police Underwater Search and Recovery Unit trailer is now stationed inside the park.

The park, just to the west of the former Bavarian Inn, remains closed as police have blocked off access and yellow police tape surrounds the playground.
A woman who identified herself as the missing man's wife told Patch Friday night, "He's a good swimmer, something is wrong."
