SCPD Offering Reward for Info About Stolen Cub Scout Trailer

Have $5K for information that leads to arrest.

Suffolk County Police is offering a $5,000 cash reward for information that leads to an arrest for the individual(s) responsible for stealing a trailer from a local Cub Scout troop.

Sometime between January 16 and January 18, 2012, the trailer was taken from an unfenced lot located at the corner of Moffitt Boulevard and Commack Road in Islip. The trailer is a gray-colored 1985 United 12-foot model with a New York registration number BA90915.  The words “Boy Scouts of America Troop 439 Ronkonkoma NY” is written on the outside of the trailer.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
