SCPD Asking Motorists to Remain Off Roads
Traffic lights are out and trees are still down, making it dangerous Sunday night and early Monday.
Suffolk County Police Department is requesting that motorists remain off the roadways Sunday evening and throughout the night unless travel is absolutely necessary.
Hazardous travel conditions still exist, including uncontrolled intersections with traffic lights out, according to a release from the police department
Numerous roadways are also affected by downed trees, utility lines and other hazardous conditions.
