Sachem Drug Spots on Suffolk County Map

As part of the stipulation from Natalie's Law, signed in 2008, the Suffolk County Drug Mapping Index has functioned to alert communities of heroin incidents in the county.

The county warns that portions of the information may be incorrect, incomplete or outdated by about a month.

On first glance, you'll notice that Coram, Selden, Brentwood, St. James, Hauppauge, Commack and Ronkonkoma have the highest amount of heroin activity (31-40). 

Here's what they have logged for the towns of Sachem: (note - it does not include Nesconset, the small section of Centereach and as far as the addresses listed for Ronkonkoma, they appear to be in the Connetquot area, not Sachem) ... 

Lake Ronkonkoma: 2, criminal possession of controlled substance and 1 possession of narcotics

Holbrook: 3, criminal possession of controlled substance

Holtsville: 3, criminal possession of controlled substance

Farmingville: 2, criminal possession of controlled substance

Lake Grove: 1, criminal possession of controlled substance
