Ronkonkoma Man Missing, Silver Alert Issued

Suffolk County Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for a Ronkonkoma man suffering from dementia. 

Martin Pfeiffer Jr., 81, was last seen walking outside of his residence, located at 500 Peconic Street, Apartment 77A, Ronkonkoma, at 9:30 a.m. Friday, according to police.

Police said Pfeiffer is described as a white man, with blue eyes, thinning silver hair, 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 192 pounds. He was last seen wearing navy pants, black shoes and glasses with silver frames.

Anyone with information about his location is asked to contact the Fugitive/Missing Persons Section at 631-852-6040.

The Silver Alert is a program implemented in Suffolk County that allows local law enforcement the share information with media outlets about individuals with special needs who have been reported missing.
