Three women arrested for drug possession, intent to sell.

A Holtsville woman was in violation of her parole and arrested for after a routine probation check at her home last week.

Suffolk County Probation conducted a home search of Jessica White, 22, of Sixth Avenue in Holtsville.

The substance was packaged and there was additional drug paraphernalia indicating an apparent intent to sell, the office said in a statement.

There were more than fifty hypodermic needles and hundreds of empty heroin bags found in the apartment and stuffed in ceiling tiles, as a possible effort to hide them from Probation or her landlord, the statement said.

With the assistance of the Suffolk County Police Department two other individuals besides White were arrested, including Kellyann Mooney, 30, of Patchogue, and Christina Kaufman, 21, of Bay Shore.

White, Mooney, and Kaufman were transported to the Fifth Precinct where the following charges were made: criminal possession of a controlled substance first degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance third (intent to sell), and criminal possession of a controlled substance seventh degree.

“The ability of our officers to perform searches pursuant to imposed Conditions of Probation is an important tool which enhances both community safety and the rehabilitation of the Probationer,” said Probation Director Gerard Cook in a statement. “I am proud of the efforts of our probation officer in this situation and of the work done by all of our officers on a daily basis.”
