Police Searching For Lake Grove Shoplifter
Video surveillance captured man stealing merchandise from Macy's department store.
Police are asking for the public's help identifying and locating a man who stole items from the Macy's department store at the Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove.
Police say that on September 10 at around 7 p.m., the unidentified man walked into the Macy's and took three Ralph Lauren shirts and left the store without paying for them.
The suspect, captured by surveillance cameras, is described as a black male in his mid-20s, around 6 feet tall. He was wearing jeans, a gray hood sweatshirt and a Boston Red Sox hat.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential, and Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
