Police: Ronkonkoma Man Killed in Car Crash
Nissan crashed into fence on East Drive in Ronkonkoma.
A Ronkonkoma man died in a single-car crash Saturday afternoon, according to Suffolk County Police.
Police said Dominick Hatzmarkos, 47, was traveling eastbound on Forest Court in Ronkonkoma when he apparently lost control of his 2008 Nissan Maxima at approximately 1:45 p.m.
The Nissan struck a fence and then crashed into a home located on East Drive in Ronkonkoma.

Hatzmarkos, of Locust Boulevard in Ronkonkoma, was transported by Lakeland Ambulance Company to Stony Brook University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The residents of the home were not injured.
