Police Pursuit Starts in Holtsville
Woman driving BMW pulled over in Centereach near Hawkins Road.
A police chase that ended in a Smithtown woman being arrested for driving while intoxicated, started in Holtsville Wednesday afternoon.
Lucy Ferraro, 24, of Smithtown, was observed moving erratically in a white BMW northbound on Nicolls Road south of Furrows Road in Holtsville, police said.
An officer attempted to stop the car and after a brief pursuit, the car was pulled over at Hammond Road and Hawkins Road in Centereach.

Ferraro was being held in the 6th Precinct for arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip.
