Police On The Hunt For Man Who Burglarized The Barn in Lake Ronkonkoma

Police say man hit two The Barn grocery stores, including one in North Babylon.

Suffolk Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man, whom they say burglarized the Ronkonkoma and North Babylon locations of The Barn, a drive-thru grocery store.

Authorities say the burglaries took place on a number of occasions last month. The man, pictured above, has been approaching the Portion Road store sometime between the hours of 11 p.m. and 7 a.m., and filling a backpack with large amounts of cigarettes. The backpack is described as black with a peace sign and a pink heart emblazoned on it.

After the suspect left the store, he fled on foot in an unknown direction, according to police. The suspect is a tall, thin male with a mustache and glasses. At the time of the crime he was wearing a blue hoodie, with blue jeans, a black belt and tan construction boots.

Anyone with information is being asked to call Suffolk Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.

I used to live literally 4 houses away from the one in ronkonkoma. Maybe the police should check with the homeless degenerates that live in the sump behing Getty. They are always hanging out in front of getty buying and drinking alcohol and scratchoff tickets
