Police: Man Lost in Patchogue Found in Brooklyn

Robert Angrisani was located uninjured at Woodhull Medical Center.

An elderly man that went missing while visiting family in Patchogue was found.

Robert Angrisani, 85 of East Moriches, was found at Woodhull Medical Center in Brooklyn said Suffolk County Police Monday.

No other information on how he was located was immediately available. Patch has reached out to police and will update if and when we hear back.

A Facebook Page made by family members to help the search for Angrisani said the following on his condition:

"He is ok but confused, we are working on getting him transferred to Brookhaven Hospital. I will keep everyone updated as we know. Thank you all for your love and support!" says the status update.

As previously reported, Angrisani left his son’s home on Conklin Ave. in Patchogue on Wednesday at around 8 a.m. Angrisani was driving a 2003 black Chevrolet Impala.

Updated 7:34 p.m.: Added information from the family's Facebook Page and removed the note that Angrisani may have Alzheimer's as family members posted to it that he does not. Suffolk County Police previously reported that he may have it in their initial press release when he was reported missing.

OK Alzheimers - driving a car and then lost - Oh, and 85, almost forgot LOL. He is safe - truly a miracle - hey children of this man - take the car away and get care for him -it is sad, but this is a very serious problem and will wind up badly. I know, it will require more work from you kids. That's life - and the only reason he has been allowed to continue to drive.

Wonderful news! I was very worried for him and his family. I'm sure you are all traumatized right now, but happy to have him back in your loving arms.

I had interaction with his family they contacted me and I did feel that he was with us glad they finally found him, but when we get of that age we do need more than what we can handle, he needs a gps that is for sure, they do make them for people as well, But I know that they are happy that he is safe and at home with them.
