Police: Lake Ronkonkoma Woman Killed in Crash
Denise Baglivi was struck and killed on Portion Road Wednesday night.
A Lake Ronkonkoma woman was killed in a motor vehicle crash Wednesday evening, according to Suffolk County Police.
Denise Baglivi was crossing Portion Road around 6:30 p.m. when she was struck by a 1998 Ford Explorer driven by Betty Heller, 77, of Farmingville, police said.
Baglivi, 53, of Lake Ronkonkoma, was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.

Heller was not injured in the crash.
The car was impounded for a safety check and the investigation is continuing.
