A Kings Park man used his home as a meeting point to sell heroin, State Police said Thursday.
Christopher Boutin, 29, was arrested after members of the New York State Police Special Operations Response Team and the Troop L Narcotics Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant at a residence at 26 Thompson Street shortly after 6 a.m. Thursday, police said.
A search of the residence resulted in the seizure of quantities of heroin, xanax and marijuana, police said.
Boutin is charged with three counts of third degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and two counts of seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He will be arraigned in First District Court in Central Islip on Friday.
After an inspection by the Smithtown Department of Public Safety, Smithtown Fire Marshal and Building Departments, the home was deemed unsafe. All residents were forced to vacate until violations are corrected, police said.
Two other men inside the home were charged with possession of marijuana.
