Police Hunting for Burger King Purse Snatcher in Farmingville

Man reached through drive-thru window, made off with employee's pocketbook.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Sixth Precinct Crime Section are asking for your help identifying and locating a man who stole a woman's pocketbook from her job at the Burger King in Farmingville.

According to police, the theft took place on September 1 at around 11 p.m. when the man pictured here approached the drive-thru window of the North Ocean Avenue Burger King, reached through the window and grabbed an employee's purse from a coat hook that.

The subect is a white male in his late teens or early 20s, with dark hair. Anyone with information about this crime is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.

why was her purse there to being with, I worked at the burger king when i was a teen and there were lockers in the back and thats where you had to keep your stuff..lock or not! her purse by the window has to be some sort of company code/ security violation..

not trying to sound ignorant but who cares!!! this situation is the same as leaving the front door to your house open... This girl is at fault for leaving her valuables out in the open like that , there are lockers & places where workers store their belongings

Like a worker at Burger King makes enough money to be stollen. Geez, I hope he got his fries with the purse...What he get a cell phone and a maxed out credit card that he won't be able to use anyway
