Police: Holtsville Man Sold Alcohol to Minor

A Holtsville man working at gas station in Selden was arrested Thursday night after selling alcohol to a minor, police said.
Sahin Nayci, 48, faces a charge of unlawfully dealing with a child after police sent two underage volunteers into the Citgo station on Middle Country Road in an undercover operation.
Six other stores targeted in the sting Thursday night complied with the law, checking ID and refusing to sell alcohol to the minors, police said.

Those stores are:
- US Petroleum, 2664 Route 112, Medford
- JJ Deli, 2501 Route 25, Centereach
- BP Gas Station, 3117 Route 347, Centereach
- Speedy Mart, 1034 Route 112, Port Jefferson Station
- Mobil Gas, 1889 Route 112, Coram
- Circle C, 729 Route 25, Selden
Nayci is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on October 9.
