Police: Gas Station, Dairy Barn Robbed in Ronkonkoma
Armed robbery at Shell gas station Monday night comes less than a week after the nearby Dairy Barn is hit, police say.
Police are investigating a pair of robberies of Ronkonkoma businesses over the past week.
On Monday, a man robbed the Shell gas station located at 498 Hawkins Avenue shortly before 9 p.m. The robber had a gun and stole money, police said.
In the other robbery, on April 15 around 9:30 p.m., a man pushed a clerk and demanded money at the Dairy Barn located at 370 Hawkins Avenue, police said. The man stole money and cigarettes, police said, adding that no weapons were shown during that robbery.
