Police: Bridgehampton Man Charged in Christmas Morning Murder

Brandon Davis, 19, is charged in the shooting death of Patchogue resident Taleik Bristel.

A Bridgehampton man was arrested Friday and charged in a Christmas morning murder at an auto repair shop in Medford. 

Brandon Davis, 19, is charged with second degree murder, police said.

According to police, Sixth Precinct officers responded to a 911 call after a caller reported that masked men had entered Whitestar MTR, located at 33B Cedarhurst Avenue, demanded money and shot four people at 3:30 a.m. last Christmas morning.

Three of the victims were taken to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. A fourth victim, Taleik Bristel, 19, of Patchogue, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Davis will be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Saturday.
