Car fire on Long Island Expressway in Ronkonkoma engulfs vehicle.
Kenny Michalouski captured this dramatic photograph from his car, of a minivan fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters from the Lakeland Fire Department responded to the call, which took place on the LIE at Veterans Highway yesterday afternoon. There were no reported injuries in the blaze.
