Man Wanted for Stealing Cigarette Cartons

Police say he was spotted doing this multiple times in June.

Suffolk County Police is asking for the public’s help to identify and locate the person who stole cigarettes on four separate occasions from local convenient stores.

According to police, on June 19-20, and twice on June 28, 2011, an unknown white male entered several convenience stores located in the Medford and Farmingville areas, and asked the sales clerk for one carton of cigarettes.

The subject then left the store with the cigarettes without paying for them. Each time, the subject was seen driving away in a silver or gray Mitsubishi sedan, police said.
