Man Killed in Hawkins Avenue Accident
Pick up trucks collide, one Bohemia man did not make it.
A Bohemia man was killed in a Ronkonkoma accident early Saturday morning.
John Gentilella, 57, of Centereach, was driving a 2001 Ford F350 pickup truck northbound on Hawkins Avenue when he struck a 1983 Dodge Ram pickup truck which was headed westbound on Express Drive North, police said.
Scott Spiotta, 40, the driver of the Dodge Ram was transported to Stony Brook University Medical Center and was pronounced dead around 1:30 a.m.

Both vehicles were impounded for a safety check and the investigation is continuing.
