A Massapequa man was killed late Sunday night in a motor vehicle crash in Holbrook, according to Suffolk County Police.
Edward Fulford was walking in the northbound lane of Nicolls Road in Holbrook near Furrows Road at approximately 9 p.m. when he was struck by a 2010 Honda Accord, driven by Melanie Beczak, 53, of Southampton, police said.
Fulford, 22, of Massapequa, was transported by the Holbrook Fire Department to Stony Brook University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The vehicle was impounded for a safety check and the investigating is continuing.
