Lake Ronkonkoma Bank Robbed
Bank on Portion Road hit by an armed robber Sunday afternoon.
The Lake Ronkonkoma TD Bank was robbed Sunday afternoon, police said.
Police received a call reporting the robbery at 1:15 p.m. at the bank located at 474 Portion Road.
Police say a male robber displayed a handgun and stole money from a teller before fleeing on foot. No one was injured.
The Lake Ronkonkoma TD Bank has been robbed in the past. Arrests were made in robberies last year and in 2010.
