Lake Grove Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident
Ejected off bike, then airlifted to Stony Brook where he was pronounced dead.
A Lake Grove man died Thursday night when his motorcycle hit a curb and he lost control.
Richard Anzalone, 21 of Mosby Drive, was operating a 2008 Suzuki motorcycle southbound on Indian Head Road when he hit the curb and lost control on Indian Head Road in Commack around 11:45 p.m., according to Suffolk County Police.
Anzalone, who was travelling at a high rate of speed, was ejected from the motorcycle and was found in the parking lot of Christ the King Church.

He was airlifted to Stony Brook University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
The motorcycle was impounded for a safety check and the investigation is continuing.
