A three-car crash closed the Long Island Expressway Monday for an hour in the Holtsville area, which injured several people according to Suffolk County police in a Newsday report.
According to the report at least three cars crashed at 5:15 p.m. at Exit 62, causing a westbound lane closure stretching to Exit 61. The lanes were reopened at 6:05 p.m., police said in the report.
The cause of the crash was not available.
