Holbrook Woman Killed in Hit and Run
Cheri Larrydale was crossing Vet's Highway at the Broadway Avenue intersection when she was apparently hit by a car or truck, police said.
A 46-year-old Holbrook woman died Saturday morning, the victim of a hit and run on Veterans Memorial Highway, police said.
At around 12:40 a.m., Cheri Larrydale was crossing Vet's Highway at the Broadway Avenue intersection when she was apparently hit by a car or truck, police said.
The county medical examiner pronounced her dead at the scene.
Police said the vehicle that hit her likely has front end and headlight damage, and they are asking anyone with information to contact them at 631-852-6555. Callers who wish to remain anonymous can dial Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
