Holbrook's Kluge Gets 50 Years for Rape
Sentenced Wednesday for rape of Holtsville woman in 2009.
A Holbrook man was sentenced Wednesday to 50 years in prison for raping a Holtsville woman in 2009.
John Kluge, 25, was of first-degree rape, criminal sexual act and burglary for an incident that occurred in the victim's home.
The woman was attacked in her garage when she was leaving for work early in the morning in October 2009, according to police.

During the trial last month, authorities said Kluge was someone viewed as a sexual predator in the Holbrook area.
Kluge, who attended Sachem High School North, was arrested in May 2010 from an incident that occurred outside the high school on Smith Road in Lake Ronkonkoma, and DNA tests linked him to the rape, according to sources close to the situation.
