Farmingville Man Faces Drug Charges In Maryland

A Farmingville man and two others were arrested just outside Berlin, MD Friday on charges relating to suspected cocaine and bath salts found in a vehicle.

Maryland state troopers found the substances in an SUV stopped for speeding at Routes 113 and 575, according to a report on Delmarvanow.com that Patch confirmed with local police.

Andrew Mitchell Monteverde, 20 of Farmingville, was arrested with Michael Marino Mignone, 20 of Centereach, and Peter William Vetrone, 20 of Morgantown, WV. All three face four drug charges and were released on a $25,000 bond.

Police say they found a baggie with nine capsules of methamphetamine/bath salts, a baggie of suspected cocaine, a baggie of 58 capsules of methamphetamine/bath salts and $1,186. The estimated street value of the capsules is $800-$1,000, and the estimated value of the cocaine is $400-$500.
