Farmingville Fire Department Gets New Rescue
Replaces older model that served department for 20 years.
The Farmingville Fire Department recently took delivery of a 2010 Pierce Velocity Heavy Rescue truck.
The new Rescue 8 replaces another smaller unit that was over 20 years old and that the department had outgrown.
The interior of the cab has the room to transport firefighters to a scene and then be utilized as a command center.
