Farmingville FD Commissioner: Slippery Roads Increased Calls
The "flash freeze" has made roads and sidewalks slippery, commissioner said.
Friday's "flash freeze", as Brookhaven Town coined it, has led to an uptick of calls to the Farmingville Fire Department.
John Skippon, the Farmingville fire district's commissioner, told Patch Friday he advises residents to be careful as many people are falling due to slippery roads and sidewalks.
