A man who was swimming in Lake Ronkonkoma Friday night is now missing, police said.
Multiple fire departments, police and dive units were on the scene near the former Bavarian Inn in Lake Ronkonkoma Friday night in search of the man, who just turned 40, according to a woman on the scene who identified herself as his wife.
"He's a good swimmer, something is wrong," the distraught woman told Patch.
Helicopters were also in the area searching for the man.
