A Deer Park man has been arrested and charged with allegedly committing four bank robberies at three banks, one of which is the Lake Ronkonkoma TD Bank location on Nov. 10.

According to Suffolk County Police police in a Thursday announcement, Edward Waller, 42, has been arrested and will be arraigned Thursday at First District Court in Central Islip. Waller was arrested Wednesday at 12:21 p.m. after being located by detectives driving in Park Avenue in West Babylon and was arrested without incident, police said.

A naked man jumping in front of cars on Route 112 near the Long Island Expressway in Medford was seen by residents Saturday morning around 8:10 a.m.

A resident sent into Patch the embedded video of a male standing in the middle of Route 112 as he leaps in front of cars that swerve around him.

Vandals Steal Banners, Smash Pumpkins at Sayville Restaurant

Sayville's newest restaurant, Parlor House Grill, was the target of vandals and thieves Sunday night.

The family-owned restaurant, which opened in early October, had hung two banners, on each side of the Main Street eatery,  highlighting Thanksgiving dinner reservations were being taken.

When restaurant owners arrived Monday morning the banners were gone, and the pumpkins and harvest decor that had been on the restaurant's front porch were smashed and strewn across the east side parking lot, according to the owners.

Police Offer $5000 Reward To Find A Centereach Purse Snatcher

Sixth Squad detectives, along with the Suffolk County Crime Stoppers are asking the public to help identify and locate a woman who stole a pocketbook earlier this month in Centereach.

According to police, on Nov. 4, a customer was shopping in an electric scooter at the Centereach Mall Walmart, located at 161 Centereach Mall, when a woman walked up to the her and grabbed her purse. The suspect fled the store with the purse in a dark-colored Jeep.
