Crime Report: Burglaries, Criminal Mischief

A list of criminal incidents in the area last week reported by the 5th Precinct.

The following information is directly from the Suffolk County Police Department's media incidents list.

Holbrook

  • On April 14, Goegel Avenue residents reported an incident of criminal mischief at 3:20 a.m. 
  • An incident of harassment on Smith Avenue was reported to police on April 14 at 1:30 a.m.
  • Police were alerted of another incident of criminal mischief on April 14, this time at 11:45 p.m. on Broadway Avenue.
  • Broadway Avenue residents alerted police of an incident of graffiti on April 15 at 7 p.m.
  • On April 16, Duncan Avenue residents notified police of an incident of criminal mischief at 10 p.m.
  • An incident of criminal mischief on Vets Highway was also reported on April 16 at 7 a.m.
  • Gerald Avenue residents notified police of an incident of aggravated harassment on April 19 at 9 p.m.

Holtsville

  • Borman Court residents reported an incident of criminal mischief on April 15 at midnight.
  • On April 16, an incident of aggravated harassment on Waverly Avenue in Holtsville was reported to police at 8:30 p.m.
  • At midnight on April 19, police were alerted of an incident of criminal mischief on Floral Avenue.
  • On the same day, another incident of criminal mischief on Hopes Avenue was reported to police at 7:30 p.m.
  • Police were alerted of an incident of criminal mischief on Haspel Avenue on April 19 at 6:30 p.m.
  • A burglary on Barretts Avenue was reported to police at 1 p.m. on April 20.
  • Ridgewood Avenue residents notified police of an incident of harassment on April 20 at 11:45 a.m.

Farmingville

  • On April 15, Rexmere Avenue residents called in an incident of harassment at 4 p.m.
  • Police were alerted of an incident of criminal mischief on Wendy Drive at 6 p.m. on April 20.

Ronkonkoma

  • An incident of harassment on Pond Road was reported to police on April 15 at 9:30 p.m.
  • Ocean Avenue residents called in an incident of criminal mischief on April 15 at noon.
  • On April 12, Round Pond Road residents alerted police of an incident of harassment at 3:30 p.m.
  • At 9:25 in the morning, an incident of petit larceny on Portion Road was reported to police on April 17.
  • West 7th Street residents notified police of an incident of harassment on April 17 at 11 p.m.
  • On April 17, Easton Street residents called in an incident of criminal mischief at 11 p.m.
  • An incident of harassment on Walnut Avenue was reported to police on April 18 at 7 p.m.
  • Pleasure Avenue residents alerted police of an incident of harassment on April 18 at 9:30 a.m.
  • Police were notified of an incident of harassment on Uhl Street at 6:30 p.m. on April 19.
  • An incident of grand larceny was reported to police on April 19 at 8 p.m. on Weichers Street.
  • On April 20, an incident of criminal mischief on Hawkins Avenue was reported to police at 4:30 p.m.
  • On the same day, Peconic Street residents alerted police of an incident of assault on April 20 at 3 p.m.
  • A burglary on Smithtown Avenue was reported to police on April 21 at midnight.
