Crime Report: Broken Windows, Listening Operator
A look at the past week's police incidents and arrests for Holtsville.
The following incidents and arrests were culled from the Suffolk County Police Department's media page.
Holtsville
- An incident of grand larceny occurred on Waverly Avenue on February 12 at around 10 p.m. No other details were provided in the complaint description.
- Police responded to a possible assault on Bea Avenue on February 15 at around 8:30 p.m. According to the description, the caller left the phone line open while the operator listened to a dispute in the background.
- Police responded to a criminal mischief call on Broadway in Holtsville on February 14 at around 9:30 p.m. According to the complaint an unknown person had broken a bedroom window and a front window the complainant's home.
- There were no arrests for serious offenses in Holtsville this week.
