Crime Report: Assault, Robbery and Arson

A list of criminal activity in the area last week as reported by the 5th Precinct.

The following information is directly from the Suffolk County Police Department's media incidents list .

Holbrook

  • An incident of criminal mischief on Avenue B was reported to police on May 27 at 1 p.m.
  • On May 28, an incident of criminal mischief on Grundy Avenue was reported to police at midnight.
  • Police were notified of someone making graffiti on Broadway Avenue on May 29 at 1 a.m.
  • Smith Avenue residents reported an incident of grand larceny to police on May 30 at 9 p.m.

  • An incident of harassment on Waverly Avenue was reported to police on May 28 at 4:30 a.m.

Farmingville

  • Oakcrest Avenue residents alerted police of an incident of harassment on May 27 at 6 p.m.
  • On the same day, an incident of grand larceny on Sachem Court was reported to police at 3:30 a.m.
  • Police were notified of an incident of harassment on Woodbury Road on May 29 at 9 a.m.
  • At 11:15 p.m. on May 31, an incident of harassment on Ridgedale Avenue was reported to police.

Ronkonkoma

  • Police were notified of a robbery on Michigan Street on May 28 at 9 p.m.
  • On May 28, an incident of harassment on Round Pond Road in Lake Ronkonkoma was reported to police at 4 p.m.
  • Wittridge Road residents in Lake Ronkonkoma alerted police of an incident of harassment on May 28 at 8 a.m.
  • An incident of assault on North 6th Street was reported to police on May 28 at 7:45 p.m.
  • On the same day, police were notified of an incident of criminal mischief on Richmond Boulevard at 3:30 p.m.
  • Police were alerted of an incident of aggravated harassment on Pamlico Avenue at 3 p.m on May 30.
  • Ocean Avenue resident notified police of an incident of grand larceny on May 30 at 5 p.m.
  • An incident of criminal mischief on Expressway Drive South was reported to police at 10 p.m. on May 30.
  • On May 31, an incident of arson in the 5th degree on Portion Road was reported to police at 8:50 p.m.
  • On June 1, Osborne Avenue residents alerted police of an incident of harassment at 8:20 p.m.
  • Another incident of harassment was reported to police on June 1, this time on Ethan Lane just after midnight.
  • Railroad Avenue residents called in an incident of harassment to police on June 1 at 6 p.m.
  • Police were notified of an incident of criminal mischief on David Lane on June 2 at 10 p.m.
