Cops Seeking Farmingville Bank Robber

Man walked into People's United Bank in broad daylight on Friday.

Suffolk County Police detectives are on the hunt for a man who robbed the People's United Bank on North Ocean Avenue in Farmingville on Friday.

In a Newsday article police reported that a man walked into the bank, which is located in the Stop N' Shop center, at around 2:30 in the afternoon and handed a bank teller a note demanding cash.

The teller complied and the suspect fled the bank. Police described the man as approximately 6 feet to 6 feet, 2 inches tall, with fair skin and facial hair. He was wearing a baseball cap at the time of the robbery.
