Cops Probe Devastating Fire At Lake Ronkonkoma Home
Early Wednesday morning fire on Portion Road is criminal, police said.
A home on Portion Road in Lake Ronkonkoma was consumed by a early Wednesday morning fire that Suffolk County Police say is under a criminal investigation.
According to police, the fire occurred at a vacant adult home at approximately 3 a.m. Police say that arson is currently investigating the fire, and that it is being considered criminal.
Police are asking anyone with information to call Suffolk County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
A video of the fire uploaded to Youtube by Stringer News Service is embedded in the media gallery. Ronkonkoma Fire Department were called in for the fire, and there were no injuries, according to Stringer.
