Cars Collide on Portion Road in Farmingville

Victim taken to hospital with non-life threatening injury after being removed from car by fire department.

Two cars crashed on Portion Road in Farmingville around 7 p.m. Monday evening.

The accident occurred at the intersection  of College Road and Portion Road.

Both of the cars sustained damage.West bound traffic on Portion Road had to be diverted for a short time while rescue crews worked on the scene.

One of the victims involved in the accident had to be removed from the vehicle by members of the Holtsville and Farmingville Fire Departments and transported to the hospital by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.
