Armed Robber Strikes Holbrook Gas Station

Gulf station on LIE service road is held up Sunday night, police say.

Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Holbrook gas station that occurred Sunday night. 

Police say a man in his 20s, wearing a red and white bandana over the lower part of his face, entered the Gulf station at the corner of Express Drive South and Patchogue-Holbrook Road at 9:53 p.m.  

Armed with a gun, the man demanded cash from a gas station employee. The robber fled with an undisclosed amount of money, police said. No one was hurt during the robbery.
