Vote Today-Farmingville Fire Commissioner Election

Remember to vote today December 10, 2013 for the position of Fire Commissioner. I will be supporting Elect Edward Stewart Jr. Eddie plays many roles in the fire department and the community. He has been a ACTIVE Volunteer firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician for the past 43 years, served as Chief from 1985 to 1986, served as Fire Commissioner for 20 years, Senior Advisor of the junior fire department, leads the recruitment program, leads the Fire prevention committee, and holiday parade/tree lighting committee.

Eddie has been here for the community since I have known him. The budget has raised from $1,887,730 in 2012 to the proposed budget for 2014 of $2,274,000.

If elected Eddie has proposed many changes that he would like such as: Updating and making things available on the district/ department website, work around other Commissioners work schedule as the position is a non paid position, Ensure ambulance services are not double billed, and bring his experience to the Board Of Fire Commissioners.
