Talk Back: Live Near Any 'Stop-tionals'?

Stop signs are not optional, but sometimes people treat them as if they are.

Just about every community has them. The "Stop-tional"--that Stop sign that everyone thinks is more a suggestion than a command. You'll be walking your dog or dragging out the garbage cans and you see the car coming down the road, slow down a little and then accelerate through the stop sign.

For today's Talk Back post, we forego the usual poll and ask you to drop in the comments section below: What is the Most Ignored Stop Sign in Your Town?

Patch would like to know.

A few comments on our Facebook page: Fred Harris: The one going North on South Howell at Gaymor Ln., I have been trying for years to have it moved 30 ft south to the corner of Linden and South Howell which is a very dangerous blind intersection. Melissa Lang: Corner of lincoln ave and roberts st in holbrook......right near the park, in 2 hours there you will probably only see maybe 4 cars actually stop!! Debbie Villani: furrows and Grundy always good for an accident! Janet Cutroneo Hishmeh: Moriches Road and Lee Court..a crosswalk for Wenonah school kids & a Samoset bus stop..people blow that sign on a regular basis, speeding by in the school zone..no cops around..
