Talk Back: How Goes The New Gas Station System?

On first day of odd-even gas rationing, a look into how it is impacting the lines at the pumps.

This morning at 5 a.m., New York State initiated an odd-even gas rationing system in an attempt to alleviate the long lines and overtaxed patience that have plagued the area for the past 10 days.

Reports of lines lasting as long as three hours, fights at the pumps, cars running out of gas while waiting on line and customers getting within close range of the pumps only to have the station run out of gas, were rampant across Long Island.
