Patch Question: Did You Feel the Earthquake?

Answer in the comment section below.

Aftershocks from an earthquake that struck Virginia Tuesday afternoon were felt in New York.

According to Reuters a magnitude 6.0 earthquake struck the East Coast of the United States.

The Pentagon and U.S. Capitol Building in Washington were evacuated. Check for first hand accounts of the quake.

How about you? Did you feel the earthquake? Where were you when you felt it?

Yup, definitely felt it! I was on the phone with mom in NJ when she starts saying she's feeling an earthquake. As I am trying to comprehend what the heck she's talking about, my house starts shaking. She said she knew right away it was an earthquake because she experienced them growing up in Ecuador. I guess my cats don't have that sixth sense...they didn't bat a whisker!

Yes, definitely felt it. Thought it was the dog knocking into my desk chair but then saw her lying down on a chair lol! I looked out my windows and saw the whole house shaking and creaking!

My cats were running around in circles crying right before it hit. Now they won't leave my side. We had furniture shaking and pictures shaking. Glad it's over. We'll be ready for the aftershocks.
