James Capurso, the father of two Sachem students, Jimmy an alumni and Jesse a current student, fell ill to double pneumonia and ARDS(Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome) on January 29th and has been incubated and fully sedated ever since at Stony Brook Hospital. Their mother Susan has not left the hospital since that date, and since has only been faced with numerous challenges. Family members of the Capursos have put together a fundraiser to help the family with anything they could need. Any support and sharing of the fundraiser is greatly appreciated from the Capurso Family in this extreme time of need.
