The Vets/Lakeland intersection is blocked off due to a serious crash. One car had no back end, the other one was on it's back. I live just a few minutes beyond it but took an extra 15 mins to get home due to the detour.
The amount of times I almost bit it on that road is terrifying. People are insane! If they're not texting they're in such a hurry that they completely ignore all logic and reason.
The most recent gems I've witnessed this past month ON THAT ROAD was one lady driving with a phone held against her ear with one hand and a cigarette in the other doing most of her steering maneuvering with her elbows. Not to be overshadowed by a car i witnessed weaving so badly I was convinced the driver was either wasted or blindfolded. No, upon closer inspection the nutbag was shining his shoes. These people shouldn't be trusted to buy bagels let alone operate a vehicle!
