Come Out for Pet Adoption Fair at Sachem Library

Come meet your new best friend!

On Saturday, May 21 from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, Sachem Library will hold its first-ever Pet Adoption Fair in Inside/Out, the library’s outdoor garden extension (RAIN DATE: Saturday, June 4). Choose from dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, and an assortment of small animals. Animal rescue organizations and advocacy associations will be on hand to help you choose the perfect pet.

The event will feature star speakers, including a 2:00pm appearance by Dr. Elizabette Cohen, host of Your Happy and Healthy Pet on WCBS Newsradio 880. There will be face painting and other fun activities for kids.  Bring the whole family, and go home with a new addition!

Donations of collars, leashes, bowls, gently used linens, or unopened pet food will be gladly accepted for distribution to local shelters.
