Sachem Library will once again be a book pick up site for World Book Night on April 23, 2014. That evening, volunteers will fan out across America to spread the joy and love of reading. Tens of thousands of people will go out into their communities to give out 20 free paperbacks of a book they have loved. World Book Night will provide each volunteer with 20 specially-produced, not-for-resale editions donated by the publishers. There are 30 titles to choose from for all types of readers, selected by booksellers and librarians. Go here to sign up or see a list of the available titles you can give away.
