“I thank Rabbi Goldberg for sharing this special night with our residents,” said Lesko, in a statement. “Hanukkah is a time to celebrate the triumph of light over darkness and help spread the word about peace and tolerance in the community. It’s a lesson that we all should live by and teach to our children.”

"It was great to see such a beautiful crowd enjoy the Chanukah festivities," added Rabbi Goldberg, in a statement. "It gives us a better appreciation to the meaning of Chanukah as we celebrate the victory of  light over dark, goodness over evil, just as the menorah lights increase each night. Lubavitch of the East End is proud to continue to serve as the conduit of bringing joy to the entire community."
